Helped shape the interface, focus engine and motion language of tvOS, from launch through to the unified TV app. Touch-sensitive remote interactions, parallax cover art, channel-based navigation. Dozens of granted patents along the way.
A Now Playing experience for the living room. Album artwork drives a colour wash that fills the entire screen, paired with restrained typography and a slim progress line. The real magic is in how the Siri Remote lets you control music by feel, from across the room.
A ground‑up redesign of the Mac's most-used app. Stripped away years of skeuomorphic chrome, unified the album grid, rethought Now Playing controls, and set a flatter, more restrained direction that rippled across Apple's apps.
Reading interfaces, library organisation and typography for iBooks on the Mac. A clean translation of a beloved iOS app to macOS, where a sharp brief and a proven pattern made the work move fast.

Five years in Cupertino. I worked inside Apple on tvOS, the TV app and iBooks. Work measured in millimetres of motion, frames of timing, and typographic consideration. The patents added up along the way.
Before Apple, I was part of the ANZ innovation team that designed and built the multi‑award‑winning ANZ goMoney for Australia and New Zealand. The first native iOS banking app in Australia, with a 4‑digit PIN and mobile‑to‑mobile payments.
Today, I lead a team of 30+ product designers within ANZ (and previously at CBA), designing experiences that help Australians make better decisions with their money. The work isn't just shipping software; it's building the team and the craft that makes good software possible.
People first. Pixels close behind. My focus is the humans: hiring designers, growing leaders, and creating the conditions where small teams do their best work. The pixels still matter, a lot, but they're the by‑product of a team that cares.
But it's never really about the team, or the pixels. It's about the customer. The person on the other side of the screen trying to pay a bill, save for a house, or make sense of their money on a Tuesday night. That's the whole point, and it's why, twenty years in, I still love design.
